AMA provides exciting opportunities for professional development and growth through the professional mixer, workshops, and company tours.
AMA professional development events include:
- Professional Mixer – The semi-annual professional mixer connects AMA members with the top business leaders in Hawaii. Attendees build lasting social networks while sharing advice, experience, and stories.
- Workshops – AMA holds various professional development workshops to address business skill sets not covered in course study. Résumé and interviewing workshops are semester in conjunction with the Shidler College of Business Office of Internships and Career Development.
- Company Tours – Tours enhance the classroom experience by illustrating first-hand how Hawaii’s top companies conduct business. Company tours also expand horizons through additional opportunities for networking, internships, and potential careers.
