Recap of this past weeks events

Wow the semester is really flying by I know a lot of us already have midterms. In fact I am writing this blog as a break from studying. I hope everyone had a great Valentines weekend. Boyz II Men were in town and if you were a loser and missed it (like Boots) then you missed a really good concert…but onto AMA.

General Meeting 2
So this week was pretty packed with AMAness we had the 2nd General Meeting on Wednesday. The forms/dues were actually supposed to be in by them but if you haven’t handed them in your time is running really short get it in ASAP. For those of you who missed the meeting get caught up and dl the slides in the Current Members page.

Rose Sale
Thanks again everyone who sold tickets and for people who helped at the table. Pretty easy way to get a fundraising credit huh? The outlook on the sales are promising and the exact numbers will be disclosed soon, more info on that as it comes.

Hooter’s Social
Another great turn out for our social. I keep telling you guys if you are missing out on the socials you are missing out on life. The waitress spilled some of my beer while spinning in circles and Scotty may have had his beer drinking manlyness come into question when Ashley doubled him up. We might have even made a new social, glass bottom boating. Social events are probably the best and easiest way to get to know other club members so it is beneficial to come out to them. The next social is the Scavenger Hunt on Friday, so contact Brent if you have any questions about that.

Leadership Workshop
The Leadership Workshop is THIS Wednesday, we are requiring everyone to be in business casual attire, if you don’t know what that is please read the blog before this. This is our first professional event so please be on time. If you have any questions or want to sign up contact Antonia.
