Meeting + Rose Sale + Upcoming events
This is gonna be a long one there’s a lot to cover but I feel its important.
First off if you were unable to make the meeting yesterday and still need to hand in your fees or apps please contact us ASAP. The slides have been uploaded to the Current Members page so you can get caught up on what you missed. Thanks everyone who were prompt in handing in your apps and fees; we are finalizing our roster and when its done you can expect that active status excel sheet to be upped soon after.
Now onto the rose sale. Because of all your efforts the rose sale is looking great and the profits are coming in but there is still time to sell more! Remind everyone you sold tickets to that the pick up is tomorrow Friday Feb. 13.
As far as upcoming events go we have a few coming up; besides the rose sale tomorrow we have the Hooters Social, Leadership Workshop, & the Scavenger Hunt Hope you guys will be able to make it out to the Hooters social for yet another great time with AMA, its always a good time when we’re out. And the scavenger hunt looks like its gonna be sick, Brent did a good job planning out this event so everyone should come out the more the better. Who knows the winning team might even get something.
The main thing I really wanted to touch on was our first professional event that’s coming up; the Leadership Workshop. This is a great opportunity to get some real world insight on how to better yourself professionally. Make sure you arrive to all professional events promptly; if your early your on time your late if your on time, you know what it is. As important as being on time is be sure that you are in proper attire. We are requiring members who will be attending professional events to be in business casual attire.
As always if you guys have any questions at all feel free to contact anyone on the board. I would contact the person who is in charge of that event as they would be able to give you the most information. If you are not sure who that is you can just email amauhm@hawaii.edu, and I can foward it to the appropriate party. Sorry this one was so long but there was a lot to cover.
