Donation Opportunities w/ Load the Locker Project & UNICEF Trick-or-Treating
We’ve got a couple of opportunities for you to donate to really great causes; you can make a difference in the world!
Load the Locker Project
We are still accepting your donations for the Load the Locker Project; the last day to donate will be Oct. 26th. If you would still like to donate your toiletry items contact Ayako at ishiwari@hawaii.edu. Three items will earn you one community service credit.
Collected toiletries will be distributed through Aloha United Way’s partner agencies in the Emergency and Crisis issue area who support the escape and sheltering of domestic violence victims. Agencies include: PACT, Child and Family Service, Salvation Army, Domestic Violence Action Center, Catholic Charities.
UNICEF Trick-or-Treating
We have started accepting your monetary donations for UNICEF. The monies collected will go to help kids in other parts of the world get the things they need to survive and grow. Donations will help UNICEF get things like water, education and medicine to the children who need it most.
The final day to make a donation is November 3. $10 = 1 IBC Credit. If you would like to donate contact Zach at zkwong@hawaii.edu.
