General Meeting #5 Recap
April fools guys! I hope you all enjoyed that little prank we did. Just wanted to do a little recap of what went on at GM #5 today and as always the slides are in the Current Members page or if you’re lazy here: General Meeting #5 Slides. We have a bunch of really cool stuff coming up: Amuse Wine Bar, Dining Etiquette Workshop, and the Anthology Tour. They’re all listed under upcoming events and are all linked to their maps. There was also nominations for next semesters executive board.
Amuse Wine Bar
One of our few remaining socials is right around the corner. Come hang out with us after a long week at school (Friday is a holiday). Amuse Wine Bar in the Inspirations building on Kapi’olani. Unfortunately, it’s only for 21+ — sorry guys, we can’t get anyone under 21 in. For more information contact Brent.
Dining Etiquette Workshop
Lots of employers are taking dining etiquette into consideration when hiring employees. Learn the art of eating from a professional! The money was due today, so if you didn’t pay you can’t come… unless you can pull some strings with Antonia.
Anthology Tour
The Anthology Group is Hawai’i‘s largest and most comprehensive marketing company in Hawai’i. Anthology consists of the following companies: Laird Christianson Advertising, McNeil Wilson Communications, Starrtech Interactive, Qmark Research, and Alt. Brand Strategy. We had this tour last semester and it’s a great tour. It’s a wonderful opportunity to really see what these large marketing companies do and how they operate. Know someone who would make a good executive board member? Nominate them. Send the name along with the position you are nominating them for to Terrence. Let us know who you want running AMA next semester. All positions are open. For more information on what each position is about, check the Executive Profiles page. You can also look at pictures of some pretty good looking people on that page. :)
