General Meeting #3 + Upcoming Events
Well we had a lot of information to go over today in the general meeting. If you were unable to make it or just want to review what we went over the slides are up in the Current Members page. Another useful tool on this page is the AMA Active Status Excel File we have uploaded; this takes all the guess work out of active status, you can now see exactly what you need and have done. This file will be updated frequently. On another note, make sure you email your resumes to Ryan by tonight! Also don’t forget to let Me (Tyler) know if you want to buy Tsukiji’s Tickets as I mentioned in the GM it’s important to support the other clubs because they support us tremendously, especially the larger clubs like FMA. The tickets are $10 and it’s a one night only Mardi Gras themed party w/ all types of craziness like a fashion show and body painting; it’s going to be pretty epic. So hit me up by Friday for those tickets.
Communications Pacific Tour
So the time has finally arrived for our first business tour. These tours are really interesting and a good chance to take a look at a working marketing firm. So arrive early because if you’re not there we will go up without you. Don’t forget to be in business casual attire. If you need a ride contact one of the board members or try to carpool because parking is kind of pricey.
Maps
“Where are the maps?” Well there are two places to find the maps. The first, which happens to be the easiest and most reliable, is by clicking the event in the upcoming events tab to the right. The second way is by going to the Calendar clicking on the event and clicking on the map. The second way is less reliable because if Google maps doesn’t recognize the name of the location it won’t be able to generate a map.
