Can you see it? The finish line is right ahead.

Well the semester is so close to being over and I hope all of you got your classes that you wanted. For those graduating (myself included) we’ve almost made it! Here is what’s happening in AMA World

Congratulations New Executive Board
For those of you who missed General Meeting Seven the new board was elected. The voting was close, some of the closest in the history of AMA. Great speeches by everyone and its been a consensus that the new board will do a great job running the club. Here is the new board:

  • President: Chris “I don’t have a parking pass” Erice
  • Executive Vice President: Jocelyn “The Kak” Kaku
  • VP of Finance: Kayla-Marie “I’m good with money” Aboy
  • VP of Fundraising: Kirstin “Monk” Seal
  • VP of Communication: Kelli “Dedicated to the club” Murata
  • Tyler’s Position VP of Promotions: Michael Rohrbacher
  • VP of Programs: Katie “Careful my dog bites” Decker
  • VP of Socials Student Relations: Michael Amado
  • VP of Professional Development: “Hey there” Muhayla Dobbs

AMAzing Hooters Mash
Here it is the final event before Climax. This social at Hooters is on Wed. Dec. 9 from 7 p.m. This is the eve of the last day of instruction, so come out and let off some steam before you start studying for your finals. It’s also all you can eat wings night for you hungry hungry hippos out there. Be there for what may potentially be the last social with AMA or at least this semesters AMA.

Climax at the Hyatt
Can you guys feel it coming, its almost here Climax at the Hyatt will be here in less than two weeks. For years AMA has been known for our awesome graduation party and constantly improve it every year. We are proud to say that we have out done ourselves this semester. It’s going to be INSANE, two DJ’s spinning all night, bottle service, open Patron bar, drink specials all night, three areas to party, rooms and tables available For those of you 21+ this is not an event to be missed last semester we had 2000 people there and hit the max capacity so get there early and make sure you get in!
