A busy new month awaits us

Wow, how time flies. it’s already the month of November. Which means there’s only a month and a half left til Christmas break! In the mean time, we have a very busy month in store for you AMAers.

Interview Workshop rescheduled
Please note that our interview workshop has been rescheduled to Monday, November 8th and will be held in Saunders Hall room 244 at 4:30pm. Please dress in business casual.

Professional Mixer Resumes
AMA’s Professional Mixer is just 2 weeks away which means we need your resumes to add to this semester’s resume booklet. These booklets will be handed out to the professionals attending this event.
If you have not already, please email your resume to Mariam in PDF format to amauhmmixer@gmail.com by NOV. 5 before 5pm.

KHNL Company Tour
We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the KHNL news 8 station this Friday at 4:30pm. We will also be staying to watch the 5:00pm newscast (optional).
Please meet at the Architecture Building parking lot on campus by 3:15 to carpool down or if you prefer to meet us there, the address is:

This is a professional development event so please come dress in business casual.

Ala Wai Elementary hopscotch painting
Our first community service event! We will be helping the Elementary school paint new hopscotches in the playground areas. We will be starting at 9am so please make sure you arrive a little early and dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
The school is located at: 503 Kamoku Street which is across the street from Iolani School and at the end of University Ave.
This event will be worth 1 community service credit.

Executive Board Nominations
Nominations for AMA’s spring 2011 executive board is now open. If you have anyone in AMA that you would like to nominate or if you would like to nominate yourself for a position on the board for next semester, please email kayla kmaboyhawaii.edu. The nominations will be closed at the next GM (11/10/10).
