Two more weeks!!
Wow, this semester has just flown by. In just 2 weeks it’ll be summer!! Hopefully all of you were able to register for next semester and get the classes that you needed. Don’t forget to register for you parking passes! You don’t want to be parking by the faculty housing for an entire semester. lol. OK, on to more important matters:

Our last GM was short but sweet. Elections were held and the general members who made it to the GM were able to watch all of the board candidates’ wonderful speeches.

Senator’s Social #3 (Masquerade Ball)
Thank you to everyone that made it out to the 3rd and final IBC Senator’s Social of the semester. It was very entertaining! There were costume and mask contests, best dish and raffle tickets! Kelli did an awesome job planning this event.
CLIMAX at the Hyatt
We are now in the heavy marketing stage for AMA’s biggest event of the semester, CLIMAX at the Hyatt. Look for our promos at all of the UH campuses, selected downtown locations and on the radio at HOT 93.9 and 102.7 Da Bomb.

CONTACT at Ka
As the semester comes to a close, let’s cut loose and celebrate together at an open social. Potent Productions has their opening event, CONTACT, Friday, April 30 at Ka Restraint & Lounge and has invited AMA-UHM to come celebrate the end of a semester. This event will be every last Friday of the month starting with this month so let’s party in fashion at one of Oahu’s hottest night club destinations with never before seen laser effects and great music till 2 am.
This is an open social (no social credits given) and is FREE to all AMA Members to attend. IT'S COMING
Our Krispy Kreme fundraiser last Friday was a “great success!” We sold out of donuts before lunch time! But we couldn’t have done it with out the help of all you wonderful AMA members!
The AMA board members would like to thank those who participated in Relay for Life last Saturday and Sunday. AMA had THREE teams representing and all three teams were sporting their Pirates, Austin Powers and Care-Bears costumes. We all had a blast but most importantly, we were helping those who were fighting against cancer.
Our CLIMAX Campaign is starting this week! If you haven’t already done so, please become a Fan of Climax at the Hyatt on our FACEBOOK fan page.

BEACH HOUSE CANCELED but camping is on
Unfortunately, This semester’s beach house has been canceled due to the increase in prices. However, since we love our members soo much, Mike Amado picked up camping permits for Malaekahana State park at Oahu’s north shore. The date is set for April 24th til the 25th. For more information, please attend GM #6
